I ordered a palette and it arrived damaged. Polish was visibly leaking from the bottles. I immediately emailed “customer service” and requested a refund or exchange. It took longer than their stated response time to get back to me. They told me to just wipe the polish off the bottles and that would be fine. I don’t know what business considers this a proper response to handling damaged product, but apparently this is appropriate to them. I had to email back multiple times and post on social media sites and they clearly removed my comments informing potential customers of their “customer service”. They then offered me a $20 discount code to which I replied that it was not a resolution. I wouldn’t want to purchase additional products from them which would end up costing me even more money. I found that the company is under Alexis Irene because that’s how my transaction was labeled on PayPal so I messaged her account on Instagram, explained the situation. She initially only offered me the same $20 coupon code which I was not happy with. I only wanted an exchange or refund. Finally, she granted my request. This took almost a month to get resolved! By far, the worst company I’ve ever purchased from. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from them.
I am mailing out my product tomorrow and hope I actually get the refund. I have a feeling they may just scam me out of my money like they initially tried to do.
Edit 2/4/2021: I am not sure why Static Nails is only now just responding with false claims. I am going to give the respondent the benefit of the doubt and assume they did not see the product that was delivered to me. There was very clearly more than just a “dot” of polish on one bottle. It had very visibly leaked out of more than one bottle. The item I purchased was a set so yes, I expect to be able to return or exchange the set as a whole. I was only able to get a satisfied response once I contacted the owner via DM on Instagram. I was fully refunded. If I had not gone through what I did, I would not have received anything. A gift card of partial value for what I paid was not an acceptable solution as I would never purchase another product from a company that believes it’s okay to not rectify an issue like selling customers damaged products. This company also deletes negative reviews on social media.
I can’t stress this enough— do not make a purchase from this company.
Well.. the nails are beautiful only in appearance ... I ordered from Denmark several of these packages with total order 106$.I was charged a lot of money by the customs, another 50 euros, it is understood that in total I paid like gold nails. The worst part is, I just wore them and while I was doing chores at home, these nails are so flexible that immediately after 3-4 hours started to split in half to break in small pieces and lift up, do not deserve for the MONEY I gave !! ????????

I have ordered these amazing nails on 3 separate occasions. (In many different colours) They arrive within 3 weeks from the US and are too easy to use. I’m very surprised by all the negative reviews - these nails are brilliant! I recommend buying the paint on glue rather than using the glue supplied with the nails as it makes life a lot easier.
Never received my nails! Never got a response back. Do not fall for this scam!
Damaged my nails so badly. Used to be strong and they are thin, brittle and breaking below the quick. The don't "pop" off. one might, or two or three randomly but then you are left with 7 nails and three weak nails that catch on everything and break below the nail bed. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Before COVID I got a no chip mani every two weeks for 6 years straight and never had any damage. HORRIFIC experience. I applied a second set (stupid) because my nails were embarassingly terrible after the first set "popped" off, which is crap. My nails are now so thin and brittle I can't even apply a clear coat without stinging. Lies and influencer/affiliate media lead you to believe these are the best thing ever. NOPE. Wish I'd read this site before trying. Completely ruined my nails, two are cut down to the middle of the nailbed and all of them sting in the shower. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I followed your instructions to the letter. I let one nail "pop" off at a time, looking ridiculous with 4 or 5 nails that took longer to "pop". I bought your glue, your remover. My nails will take months to recover and I have to wear band aids over three fingers because even though they "fell" off randomly they thinned my nails so badly they tear. Incredible scam protected by a social media team determined to get the benefits out there, but not the truth or reviews from actual people who GAVE YOU MONEY.
I tried static nail polish. At first I noticed my nails would bubble upon applying the second coat, making the manicure look cheap. Then I noticed that by the next day after sleeping on them my nails would be imprinted as though I pressed them against fabric while wet, leaving my nails looking matte and bad. I kept taking off the polish and trying different methods of applying - dehydrating nails, waiting an hour between coats to apply, etc. None of it worked, and if I left the polish on longer than two days, my nails started peeling off in chunks.
I emailed static nails and followed their advice. They then told me I had to purchase their primer and lacquer in order to get the products to work. I asked if they could garuntee that the products would work, and refund me for the lacquer if it still didn't work. They told me they don't do "behind-the-scenes" negotiations and directed me to their "no refunds" policy. I see many other negative reviews, which leads me to believe they cannot and will not stand behind the effectiveness of their product, which is supposed to last 14 days, yet damaged my nails in 2.
I also received no reply to my Instagram negative review which leads me to believe it was removed since Static replies to all negative reviews.
edit****
will you allow my honest review to be posted on your website? i sent you screenshots so i think we both know i posted it in the “right place.”
i see your strategy, well riddle me this: do you allow negative reviews on your webpage? facebook? that’s it, that’s the only question i want answered from you.
DO NOT ADDRESS MY COMPLAINTS ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS BY TELLING ME I NEED TO LET THEM POP OFF NATURALLY. you are insane. stop repeating the same garbage over and over and over...
doesn’t it get tiresome?
Static Nails is a SCAM. facebook promotes a scam. at this point, i’d pay for facebook if it meant i didn’t have to endure false advertising.
and because my review deserves to live somewhere, here it is:
TITLE: too good to be true -
pretty but painful
so... i was so excited to try these "pop on" nails (designed and created by a young female entrepreneur). but i have to say my experience was pretty unpleasant:
1) they do not "pop off":
i applied two sets over the course of a month, my first time using less glue, and my second applying the glue much more generously. both times the nails starting to lift on the sides while still remaining firmly attached in the middle; as the nails start to lift off -> obvious air gaps created -> leading to possible fungus -- i removed the first set on day 3. the second time (after the more liberal glue application), they again started to lift on the edges on day 7, so i soaked ... and soaked... and soaked. but eventually just practically ripped them off. ouch.
2) they are not "reusable":
after removing my first set, there was still glue all over the back of the fake nail, a thin layer on my nail, and a gross bit up near where my real nail ends and the fake nail extends. as i mentioned, I COULD NOT WAIT FOR THEM TO NATURALLY POP OFF, as they had already starting lifting off on the edges. i also soaked the fake nails in hot water for hours after removal in the hopes of removing some of the yucky residue and possibly, maybe getting a second use out of them. nothing. glue still rock hard and the nails coated with ridges of glue. also, the middle finger pop on cracked at the tip before i even removed it, so i definitely can't wear that set again.
3) they will leave your nails damaged:
after removing the second set (where i had applied much more glue in the hopes of them lasting longer than 3 days), my real nails were so raw they were tender and red. the middle of my thumbnail cracked :( and all my other nails were pretty weak and will probably take about 3 months to fully grow and recover. it's pretty near impossible to not get glue on your finger (scary), on the surface of the nail (sad because it ruins the perfect surface), and in a weird way meshing the tip of the fake nail to your skin behind your nail. after both applications i had to try and use warm water to re separate the space behind my nail from the skin. really terrifying feeling of not being able to feel behind your nail.
i've bought three sets in total, used two, and i'm honestly not quite sure that i'll ever use the third after these dissapointing and traumatic experiences.
nice try, but some things are too good to be true.
p.s. i had written most of this in an informative comment on one of their Facebook instagram ads... where it was subsequently deleted. bummer that the company doesn't value transparency...
p.p.s. i'm a 24 y/o college student who's not particularly "hard" on her hands...
Unwilling to respond to my multiple emails about refunding me my money AFTER I returned my products a month ago. Thieves!!! $65 gone!!!
I am positive they’re going under and not fulfilling orders anymore! Its been weeks since I’ve ordered and NO update on a tracking number at all. I asked for a cancellation and they flat out refused. Now they are ignoring my emails and I am afraid I will never get my $60 back.
What a scam!!

edit: it looks like they have time to reply to my review (i’m not even the same April!!) but NOT my emails and messages on social media. Tragic!
They use pictures and false endorsement from influencers without telling the truth. They use Taylor Wynn's photo but without the original caption which stated that the nails colour wore off after only a few days and that she recommend KISS nails for half the price over the Static ones.
Their "revolutionary" nail polish remover, does not work, at all - and for $18 a bottle and with no return or refund policy stay away from buying it.
They delete all questionable or even the slightest truthful comments about their products off both IG and FB.
Edit: The company has requested that I remove part and edit my review. After contact with Trustpilot I have sent Trustpilot the emails and videos of their product not working AT ALL and screenshots of reviews and questions being consequently removed from all platforms they can under false pretence that it is "spam" - including blocking paying customers on all their social medias, IG/Twitter/Facebook.
Regarding their comment to this review, NO you have not responded anything the sightliest of what you claim, all you responded with was that you do not offer refunds. I have made a claim to the EU ombudsman civil court for you selling products which doesn't do what they claim AND you break EU law about not offering 14 days legal refund on all products purchased online. See you there..
As many others have stated as well, there is a serious issue here with ensuring that orders actually get shipped, and then with dealing with customer support when your order does not get shipped.
StaticNails "guarantees" shipping within 3-5 business days. I reached out 2 weeks after the expiration of that deadline to see why I hadn't received a shipping confirmation email. I got a quick response that didn't make sense, basically saying she was absolutely certain that my order had been given to the carrier, but that she would need a week to see if the carrier was able to give her information on where it is, and that they'll re-ship it if not (no mention of the fact that I *also* didn't get the "guaranteed" shipping confirmation email). Literally every single parcel carrier service automatically provides a tracking # for every single package -- it's part of the label that either the customer or the carrier creates for the package for shipping. Seriously, Google this -- every single parcel carrier automatically provides tracking for every single package. No exceptions. There is no way that you did ship this and do not have tracking, nor any way to get that, no matter what carrier you use. If you shipped this, you do not need a week to check into this. You should've spent a few mins looking into the tracking info before responding to my email. But of course, that would only make sense if the package had actually been shipped, otherwise I would receive the email I did receive, making excuses and lying about my order status.
So StaticNails did not fulfill their shipping timeline that they guarantee, had not shipped my order out even within the 2 weeks beyond their shipping guarantee date, lied to me about having shipped it when I reached out, and then still didn't ship it thereafter and ceased responding to my support emails. I contacted them numerous times through Facebook, both as posts on their page (got deleted immediately with no response, so someone is monitoring this page diligently but providing no service to customers) and as messages through Facebook (also haven't heard back on these), and then I contacted through Twitter, too. I have heard nothing from any platform. I saw that another TrustPilot reviewer mentioned she had some success in getting resolution when she found and wrote to the company owner, Alexis Irene, on Instagram. I just wrote 2 posts on her Insta to see if there's any chance to get resolution that way. If I haven't heard from them by end of day tomorrow, I will be contacting my credit card company to issue a chargeback, and I have already submitted a formal complaint about their business practices to the California Attorney General due to the conspicuous lying about my order status and the refusal to follow up and provide any resolution (ie shipping out the order I paid for over 3 weeks ago). The business is registered in Austin, TX as well, so submitting formal complaints through the Attorney General of either or both states may help pressure the company to bring its' policies in line with consumer protection laws.
*UPDATE BASED ON STATIC NAILS RESPONSE:
-You have been asked multiple times to provide evidence of having shipped my order by the expiration of your own shipping guarantee. If you have lost this electronic shipping confirmation, you can contact the carrier and have them print or email you a new copy of your shipping confirmation/receipt. You don't have this because you didn't ship my order. Further evidence consists in the fact that I didn't receive any shipping confirmation when you say my order shipped, and it's still in transit (w 5+ business days left) a month later.
-You eventually responded on Facebook via message to say that you only provide support via email. I responded that I'd been compelled to follow up through other channels due to email support being unresponsive. I received no response to this.
-I kept records of all of my attempts to reach out to you for resolution. It seems that you didn't do this, nor any due diligence before making publicly false claims (dishonesty seems to be StaticNails' primary policy, actually). There were 4 posts on your facebook wall, all of which were deleted immediately and without response. 1 Facebook message (of background info and requesting help), plus one follow up requesting help again after being told that this is available through email only. 6 Twitter posts all requesting help and noting the lack of follow up through any platform. And 4 Instagram posts (split between the owner's insta and the StaticNails insta) also noting that I hadn't received any resolution or help through email, and requesting that. Please provide explanation for where you pulled the 80+ figure you noted in your dishonest review response.
If this is your "best", you suck.
I had been wanting to try Static Nails for a while and was SO excited to finally buy my first pair. I purchased two pairs thinking I might want to have a choice of which to try first.
The first thing I noticed when the nails arrived is that there aren't enough sizes. This company brags about their amount of sizes and how they will fit "EVERYONE," but the truth is that as an adult with smaller hands there weren't enough nails in the "middle" sizes to fit all of my fingers. I wound up with a weird hodge podge of nails in which the nail on my middle finger is noticeably wider than the nail on my pointer finger (my pointer, middle, and ring finger nails are all about the same width) and the nail on my thumb is too wide, because there wasn't a thinner option that I didn't need for another finger. They looked beautiful on the website but looked frightening and unnatural in real life.
I only applied the nails on one hand. Thank goodness for that. Application was relatively easy, but once they're on they are very uncomfortable. Almost painful, even. It feels as though they're pulling on my nail beds. The nails I tried were the "Caviar" coffin nails. I ordered the "short" nails but these were so long that I couldn't even type with them on. You can cut the nails, but if they have any sort of shape then this will ruin them. They also smell terrible when filed.
You can't just remove these if you don't like them, even if they hurt to wear. Within less than an hour of applying, I was able to soak my fingernails in warm water and pry these off with a nail file. Although the damage to my nails was very minimal, it once again, contrary to the company's claims, DID cause damage.
The best part of it all is that after going through this ordeal with my singular set of nails, I have another unopened set of nails. I figured I could just return it since I had barely even touched the outside of the package. Nope. They don't accept returns, at all. I thought about giving the nails away but I don't want to wish this experience on anyone else. So I wasted my money on two sets of trash nails that I'll never use.
Thanks.
Edit: I wish I could give fewer stars after this condescending BS response. Their FAQ literally says "Static nails fit everyone from a 13-year-old to a drag queen, so the odds are pretty strong, and we feel confident fit is nothing you have to worry about." (with "everyone" in italics for emphasis) and has said that for over a year, but they had the gall to tell me "we do not claim [the nails] fit everyone."
Please just stop.
